As you may know, Ron Ruelle, half of the team that brings you the antics of Skelton and his friends, also works as Creative Director & Wheelman for the Model Car Hall of Fame. When Pope Francis died last week, Ruelle posted an article about models of the Popemobile.

A reader requested an illustration of Skelton driving a Popemobile, so of course it had to happen. Ruelle went to one of his go-to tropes, the Ed Roth-style caricature for this one.
